Newcastle have been working for weeks to secure the signature of Adarabioyo but Chelsea are all set to hijack the Magpies' deal, according to journalist . The Blues have reportedly reached the final stages of negotiation and are very close to making him the club's first signing in the Enzo Maresca era.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
The 26-year-old former Manchester City graduate joined Fulham in 2020 but earlier this year he informed the Cottagers that he would not extend his stay at the club once his contract expires this June. The West London club are looking to plug the gap left by the departure of veteran defender Thiago Silva.
